Warrior Women of Faith Project, why here and why now? "For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake." Luke 21:15,17. We are commanded to love one another not judge one another, and not just the people we agree with but with EVERYONE.
I'm a 54-year-old woman with significant health issues that I have incurred because of years of childhood trauma. On March 19th, 2017 I suffered a stroke and had a near-death experience. I was given the right to come back and continue being with my family as long as I would continue strongly advocating for my faith as a woman. The scriptures say "Least ye fear man more than God?" I have never been afraid of sharing my faith or testimony with people that it was quickly apparent that He wanted me to reach out to other women who did not feel that they had the voice that I have. As individuals, we can be seen more than being heard. We don't have to be vocal about what we believe to have an impact on the world.
Stand up and be counted as a "Warrior Woman of Faith"! We as women were given these particular set of gifts at birth; compassion, understanding, nurturer, and the ability to bring peace, among many other commendable gifts that help us to make the world a better more peaceful place to live. Our clothing is a symbol of this desire to stand up and be counted as a woman of faith. Our actions will be seen through the clothing we wear and by so doing, it will have a positive effect on our daily goal of improvement, and transformation to a more service-oriented and peaceful world. Our hope is to change the world through an inspirational, loving, and thoughtful way every day by what our clothing represents. We believe through small things great things can be accomplished.
